Shaftesbury’s BV Dairy has announced a £2M expansion. The food production sector has changed during the lockdown and BV’s Finance Director Vaughan Heard says the new equipment will enable the dairy to meet future customer needs and attract new clients. He says this investment is ‘great news’ for the thirty Shaftesbury-area farmers who supply milk to the dairy.

Vaughan explains how this project will bring additional opportunities for existing staff, local jobseekers and school leavers. The Wincombe Lane business currently employs 130 people and Vaughan expects to add 32 new jobs next year. Construction work starts in January. Vaughan describes the appearance of the new unit.
