Sunday 15th of May saw the 2016 Shaftesbury Food and Drink Festival hit the town. The weather was dry and sunny and visitors exceeded all expectations

As well as being the main sponsor of the event, this year BV Dairy also supported a professional theatre kitchen that saw Chefs from La Fleur de Lys in Shaftesbury, La Fosse at Cranborne, Yeovil Court Hotel in Yeovil and Rick Stein’s in Sandbanks take to the stage producing a wide variety of interesting dishes using locally sourced products (including BV Dairy’s) for an eager audience to enjoy.

The BV Dairy stand sold milk and cream products in addition to Milk Shakes and Cream Teas To Go – a neat box containing scones, jam, award winning Clotted Cream and even a knife! The Staff also ran the BV Dairy ‘Double Bubble’ Raffle. The winner received a magnificent hamper of local goodies – including BV Dairy products that are not usually available in stores – AND was able to choose the Charity that was to benefit from the cash raised – in this case Mr Chetwode asked that the money went to the National Kidney Federation.

Millie was in attendance throughout the day helping to entertain children and adults alike.
