Thursday saw the Gala Dinner and Award Ceremony for the Dorset Business Awards 2019 take place at the BIC in Bournemouth. It was all glitz and glitter for these prestigious awards that started life back in 1994 with just 5; 2019 saw 12 prizes awarded.

Having received the ‘Investing in Dorset’ Award in 2018, BV Dairy were proud sponsors of the award in 2019 and were very pleased to make the presentation to Dorset Cruises who operate off of Poole Quay.

Charis Lewis, Logistics and Distribution Manager at BV Dairy, was part of the judging team. ‘Judging for this award was very difficult’ she said. ‘The standard was incredible throughout all the entrants and they all demonstrated their support for ‘local’ within their supply chains, and beyond. It was our job to focus on on the brief and we felt that the attitude and enthusiasm demonstrated at Dorset Cruises along with their passion for working with other local organisations really set them apart in this field in 2019.
